What to include
The more we know, the quicker the right contractor can get to you with the right gear:
- Your suburb and street.
- What kind of tree, palm, stump or bamboo, if you know.
- Roughly how tall, compared with the house.
- How close it is to the house, fences, pool and power lines.
- The width of the narrowest gate or path to reach it.
- Whether the stump should be ground or removed too.
- Whether you want to keep the timber or mulch.
- Photos, if you can send them.
Emergencies
If a tree has fallen and anyone is in danger, call 000. If power lines are down or involved, stay well clear and call Energex on 13 19 62. For storm help such as emergency roof tarping, call the SES on 132 500. Then call us for the tree work once the scene is safe.
What happens after you get in touch
Once we have your details, the enquiry goes to an independent contractor who works in your area. They will call to arrange a time to see the tree. At the visit they look at the tree, the access and anything underneath it, and check for power lines and signs that the tree may be protected. You then get a written quote. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to accept.
