What Tree Solutions QLD is
Tree Solutions QLD is a referral website for tree removal and related work in Brisbane and the council areas around it: Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and the Redlands. When you call or send the form, we pass your enquiry to an independent local tree contractor who works in your area. They visit, quote in writing and, if you accept, carry out the work.
We do not employ the crews who do the work, and we do not pretend to. Being clear about that matters, because it tells you who to ask for the things that count.
What we ask of the contractors
We ask the contractors we work with to:
- Look before they price. Every quote should follow a site visit and be put in writing.
- Hold the licences and insurance the job needs. Ask to see them before work starts. A good contractor will show you without fuss.
- Check council and koala mapping before removing native or potentially protected trees, and tell you if approval is needed.
- Protect your property and leave the site clean.
- Tell you when a tree does not need to come out. Sometimes pruning is the better answer.
What we cover
Five kinds of work: tree removal, stump removal, stump grinding, palm tree removal and bamboo removal. We have local pages for eight areas, from Caboolture in the north to Beenleigh and Greenbank in the south, Ipswich and Forest Lake in the west, Ashgrove in the inner west, and Wynnum and Victoria Point on the bay.
What this site is for
Most people only need tree work a handful of times. This site tries to give you enough information to ask the right questions: what a fair quote should include, when council approval matters, what the difference is between grinding and removing a stump, and what to do before and after a storm. Opening hours
Phones are answered Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm. Sunday is closed. The form can be sent any time.
